Us Weekly reports that Thompson is excited about having his own place in close proximity to Kardashian and their children, as he can now visit them whenever he wants.
The couple first started dating in 2016 and share two kids, True and an eight-month-old baby boy. While they have had an on-and-off relationship, Kardashian ended things for good with Thompson after he cheated on her with Maralee Nichols, who gave birth to their son Theo in December 2021. Kardashian was pregnant with their second child at the time.
Although Kardashian has made it clear that she does not see a romantic future with Thompson, he hasn’t given up hope. The source told Us Weekly that Thompson believes they will always be in each other’s lives because of their children, and he wants to be the best father to their kids that he can be.
Recently, Thompson and Kardashian were spotted together at a McDonald’s drive-thru. They also celebrated their daughter True’s fifth birthday together with their friends and family. While the couple seemed to have a great time, Nichols was seen posting on Instagram seemingly shading the event, writing “Happiness…It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary,” while spending time with her son at the beach the following day.
