After nine years, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix called it quits following news that Sandoval had cheated with his Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss. Sandoval shared during a podcast that he had fought hard for Leviss, even stopping drinking and smoking after she went away to a mental health facility. The affair between Sandoval and Leviss had begun while Sandoval was still in a relationship with Madix and it quickly became headline fodder.
In response to the scandal, Leviss checked into a mental health facility. Sandoval wanted to offer whatever support he could, even quitting drinking when he realized that Leviss could not partake due to her situation. Although their romance ended earlier this year, Sandoval concedes that he still misses her, stating, “We were best friends. It’s heartbreaking to go through.”
Despite missing Leviss, Sandoval is unsure if she actually loved him, stating, “I hope she did,” while expressing hurt that she “just shooed me away” after the scandal broke. While Leviss and Sandoval had not spoken in months as of September, Sandoval insists that their hookup was not just for the “thrill” of it, pointing out that “love makes you do really stupid things.”
