Rachel Leviss is opening up about her past year, including her affair with Tom Sandoval and her departure from Vanderpump Rules.

Former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss, also known as Raquel or Rachel, is speaking out about her experiences over the past year, offering her own unfiltered perspective on her situation. “The day has finally come where I get the chance to tell my own story in my words,” said Leviss. This podcast teaser was released on Monday, December 18, providing fans a glimpse into what to expect from the upcoming “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast. In her teaser, Leviss acknowledges that she will be providing a candid look at both the good and the bad of her past year.

In the podcast, Leviss describes her feelings of regret and wrongdoing in the aftermath of her affair with costar Tom Sandoval, which ultimately led to his breakup with Ariana Madix. After participating in a 90-day treatment program at a trauma therapy center, Leviss made the decision to cut off all contact with Sandoval, noting that she had been in denial about the reality of their affair. She ultimately realized that it was best for her to distance herself from Sandoval in order to move on and focus on her own well-being.

Leviss also discussed the difficulties she faced filming season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, particularly in light of her breakup with James Kennedy. Despite these challenges, she expressed her desire to take time to heal and find a therapist. As a result, she made the decision to remove herself from the filming environment of the Bravo series, confirming in an August announcement that she would not be returning for season 11.

While still reflecting on the aftermath of her relationship with Kennedy and the fallout from her affair with Sandoval, Leviss shared that she has prioritized her mental health and well-being in the wake of these experiences. After undergoing significant personal growth and reflection, she is now taking the opportunity to share her story on her own terms through the “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast, which is set to premiere on January 8, 2024.
