The Real Housewives of New York City is getting a reboot with a cast of fresh faces for season 14, including Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons, and Brynn Whitfield. Some of them are lifelong New Yorkers, while others are newer to the Big Apple. Bravo has confirmed the debut of a new cast of fresh faces for season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City, featuring Brynn Whitfield, Sai De Silva, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Erin Dana Lichy, and Ubah Hassan, who will make their debut in July 2022.

The Real Housewives of New York City is bringing in fresh faces for its 14th season. The new cast members are set to debut on July 16th, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET. Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons and Brynn Whitfield were announced at BravoCon in October 2022.

Some of the new cast members are lifelong citizens of New York. Sai De Silva, 41, hails from Brooklyn and is a creative director of lifestyle company Scout the City. Erin Dana Lichy, 34, was brought up in Manhattan and now resides in Tribeca where she owns and runs a residential renovation and design firm named Homegirl.

Others are newcomers to the city. Ubah Hassan, 35, who grew up in Somalia, travelled to Kenya and Canada before settling in New York to pursue her career as a model. Jessel Taank, a British-Indian descent fashion publicist and brand consultant, is 31 years old.

Brynn Whitfield, 36, was raised in a small midwestern town before establishing herself in the brand marketing field by hosting dinner parties in the West Village. Meanwhile, Jenna Lyons, former president of J. Crew, has lived in New York for decades, living all over the city and presently resides in SoHo. Lyons co-founded LoveSeen, a beauty brand.

One of the cast members, Lizzy Savetsky, announced that she would no longer be filming the show due to online harassment. “Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of anti-Semitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.” However, executive producer Lisa Shannon expressed her excitement for the new season and stated that “the future of the New York franchise is very bright.”

The 13th season of the show featured OGs Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer, along with Leah McSweeney and Eboni K. Williams. With such a diverse and exciting new cast, season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City is bound to be a must-watch.
