Liev Schreiber apologized to Ariana Madix after questioning her recent press tour in which she discussed her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal on Vanderpump Rules.

Liev Schreiber issued an apology to Ariana Madix after making a public comment about her recent press tour. The actor raised eyebrows when he questioned Madix’s profile in The New York Times about Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss. Schreiber responded to the comments section, “Is this news?” causing Bravo fans to spam his latest Instagram upload with the same shady comment.

After podcast host Danny Pellegrino joked that Schreiber was on his “arch nemesis” list, the Salt star weighed in once again apologizing to Madix and Pellegrino for not realizing he was in the entertainment section. The drama stemmed from Madix’s breakup with Sandoval, whom she dated for nine years. The couple called it quits in March due to his infidelity with their co-star, Leviss, who was one of Madix’s closest friends.

Madix appeared on several different talk shows this week to publicly address the affair and the breakup in-depth. Vanderpump Rules resumed filming after the scandal to capture footage in the aftermath. Viewers watched the cast weigh in on the drama during the emotional finale. Madix made it clear during her press tour that she has no plans to forgive Sandoval or Leviss, saying, “Our show is very real and follows a real group of friends, and neither of them are in the group of friends”.

The three-part Vanderpump Rules reunion begins on Bravo Wednesday, May 24, at 9 p.m. ET. The show follows a group of friends working at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants in West Hollywood. Madix has been a fan favorite on the show for years and recently spoke out about her struggles with body image after facing criticism on social media.
