Sandoval, who co-owns TomTom with fellow cast member Tom Schwartz, cheated on Madix with costar Raquel Leviss. In March, Us Weekly confirmed that Sandoval and Madix called it quits after nearly a decade of dating due to his affair. Following the scandal, Lala publicly sided with Madix against Leviss, who she referred to as a “broken person.” Despite their similar stance, Lala and Sandoval got into several arguments during the season 10 reunion, and the tension escalated off-screen.
During part two of the reunion, which aired in May, Sandoval made a comment about Lala’s 2-year-old daughter. After the episode aired, Lala took to social media to express her disgust and anger.
