He also alleged that Zolciak-Biermann has been spending “substantial time and marital funds” on online gambling, to the extent that she cannot care for their children, and asked for the “temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody” of their children.
Biermann’s request for a psychological evaluation comes shortly after Zolciak-Biermann filed to have Biermann undergo a drug test, alleging that she is concerned for her children’s safety in his care. She claimed to have seen him smoking marijuana and fear that the children could be exposed to his drug use. While the ex-couple has been living together in Georgia amid their divorce, Biermann has asked for “exclusive, temporary and permanent use and possession” of their marital home and that Zolciak-Biermann be restrained from coming on the property after she has left.
Both Biermann and Zolciak-Biermann are reportedly dealing with significant financial troubles, with the ex-couple allegedly owing over $1 million in back taxes. In addition, their 5-bedroom home in Georgia was in foreclosure earlier this year after they defaulted on mortgage payments. Despite the financial hardship, the couple has continued to live in the house together since their split. Neither party has commented on the recent legal filings, and it remains to be seen how these ongoing disputes will be resolved.
