In a recent episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Katie Maloney, a star on Vanderpump Rules, shared her thoughts on Tom Sandoval’s interview about his split from Ariana Madix. According to Maloney, Sandoval made false claims about Madix not wanting to attend a wedding while in reality, she was unable to due to contracting COVID-19. Maloney also accused Sandoval of withholding information to make himself look better in the aftermath of the breakup.
In March, news broke of Sandoval’s split from Madix after nearly a decade of dating. Us Weekly confirmed that he had an affair with Raquel Leviss while still together with Madix. In April, Sandoval went on Howie Mandel’s podcast to explain what led to his infidelity. He alleged that Madix knew in advance about the breakup and tried to convince him not to follow through.
During the podcast, Sandoval also shared that his relationship with Madix lacked intimacy and connection, leading to the split. His relationship with Leviss grew stronger while filming season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, and they started dating in August 2022.
Mandel, who faced criticism for the podcast appearance, later addressed the backlash, explaining that he promised Sandoval’s team not to push back against their client on the air. He also offered to edit out anything that Sandoval wasn’t satisfied with after the taping.
The season 10 finale of Vanderpump Rules airs on Bravo on May 17, followed by a three-part reunion special.
