Jasmine Ellis & Silas Cooper Reevaluate Their Marriage Before Season 2 of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard

Jasmine Ellis Cooper and Silas Cooper, a married couple, navigated through a “stressful” first season on “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” and took time to reexamine their relationship ahead of Season 2, focusing on resolving conflicts and strengthening their bond. Despite the challenges, including Silas’s deployment overseas and his absence during the birth of their first child, the couple maintained their connection through regular communication and looked forward to reuniting, with Jasmine emphasizing the importance of their relationship and Silas’s return home.

Jasmine Ellis Cooper and Silas Cooper navigated challenges in their marriage after appearing on “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” Season 1, leading to a stronger relationship despite Silas’s deployment and their adjustment to long-distance communication and parenting.

Silas Cooper and Jasmine Ellis took a hard look at their marriage. They did it right before diving into the second season of “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.” Talk about timing, huh?

Jasmine Ellis Cooper, alongside her husband Silas, found their marriage sailing smoothly after a “stressful” season one. They had a chat with Us Weekly before the season two premiere. Jasmine spilled the beans, saying they really had to examine their relationship after that first summer. “You can’t hide anything from cameras,” she pointed out. So, they faced their issues head-on.

And guess what? They decided to work on those issues. It wasn’t a walk in the park, but hey, they had fun last summer.

Jasmine and Silas, who tied the knot in June 2022, were the only married couple on the Bravo show. They met on a dating app years ago. Season one was shot right after their wedding. Talk about a whirlwind.

Now, onto something a bit different. The stars of “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” are back for season two. But, Silas won’t be joining the fun this time. “Hey Martha! We back,” Jasmine told cameras during the season two trailer. “So much has changed since last summer.”

Post the first season, Jasmine mentioned they reprioritized their relationship. Falling back in love, relearning about each other. It’s been good, especially since Silas is deployed. “He’s my best friend,” she added. Can you feel the love?

Silas, currently serving overseas with the U.S. Army, means they’re navigating a long-distance marriage. They keep in touch through WhatsApp, FaceTime, text messages. “We talk every other day,” Jasmine shared. Modern love, am I right?

Because of Silas’ deployment, he missed the birth of their first baby, Silas “Si” Geplay Cooper Jr., born in February. Jasmine screen-recorded everything, with help from her granny and doula. It’s tough for Silas, missing out on those milestones. Jasmine knows it’s hard on him but is hopeful for his return by summer. “Sir, I love [you] serving our country, but you need to be home come summer,” she joked with Us.

Due to his deployment, Silas couldn’t film for season two of “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.” His absence was felt by the cast. “It definitely was different,” Jasmine admitted. She missed him but leaned on her friends for fun and support.

Bria, 28, agreed with Jasmine. “She was so much fun,” she gushed. “She was the same [and] even more lit!”

“Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” premieres on Bravo Sunday, March 24, at 9 p.m. ET. Don’t miss it!
