Speaking on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Jacobs revealed that she had met Laura-Leigh through a teacher who put the aspiring star in touch with her. Jacobs noted that she found Laura-Leigh “very lovely” despite not keeping in touch with her.
Jacobs’ introduction to Vanderpump Rules came about when she walked past her boyfriend watching the show and spotted Laura-Leigh, whom she had met years before. The Fear Street star revealed that she has been a fan of the show ever since that day and is a “day one” viewer.
Viewers were first introduced to Laura-Leigh when Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013. During the first season, she found herself in a love triangle with Jax Taylor amid his on and off-again romance with Stassi Schroeder. Laura-Leigh’s history with drug abuse was also revealed during the season, with the former waitressing revealing that she had started drinking at age 12 before turning to meth. However, before fans could see her leave the show, Laura-Leigh announced that she was quitting her job at SUR because she landed a role in the 2013 film We’re the Millers alongside Jennifer Aniston.
Despite attempting to reach out to Laura-Leigh, former cast member Katie Maloney revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that the actress had left her on read, and she did not believe that Laura-Leigh was interested in returning to the show. Since leaving Vanderpump Rules, Laura-Leigh has appeared in The Client List, Blue Bloods, Under the Silver Lake, and several short films.
