Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann welcomed their first child, son Heath Orion Horstmann, sharing details of the birth and expressing joy over their new family addition.

Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann have just welcomed a new member into their family. They named their first baby Heath Orion Horstmann. And guess what? Us Weekly got the exclusive scoop.

Gibelli, who’s 30, couldn’t help but share, “Our baby is his father’s twin!” It’s pretty cute how she sees so many similarities between them. She’s also intrigued to see if Heath inherits her Aries personality. It’s like she’s hoping for a mini-me but also a mini-Blake.

She had a birth plan but was ready to roll with the punches. “I was very receptive to whatever would present itself,” she explained. The plan took a turn from a fully unmedicated birth. Yet, she felt empowered, catching her baby while Blake cut the chord. “It was the coolest, most empowering and most badass thing I’ve done in my entire life,” she said.

And here’s the kicker: Gibelli actually enjoyed giving birth. Yep, you heard that right. Despite the expectation of it being a scary ordeal, she was all smiles. “I literally couldn’t hide how happy it made me,” she admitted.

During the delivery, Horstmann was “very impressive,” according to Gibelli. He soaked up all the info from their doula classes like a sponge. He knew exactly how to keep her calm and make her feel powerful. “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner,” she gushed.

They even teased their son’s arrival during a Netflix reunion last month. Talk about a dramatic reveal, right?

Before Heath’s arrival, Gibelli was all about the mystery. “I’m hoping it looks just like [Blake],” she said before knowing if Heath would inherit Blake’s fair skin and blue eyes or her spicier traits. The anticipation was real!

Once Heath was born, choosing his name was a no-brainer. “We wanted his name to feel unique and meaningful,” Gibelli shared. It seems like they nailed it, with a name that echoes nature and strength.

Now, it’s all about taking things “day by day” with their little one. Despite Blake’s work schedule, they’ve got a “village” helping them out. “It’s been a beautiful thing,” Gibelli reflects on their new family life.

Gibelli, a Love Is Blind alum, and Horstmann, known for his time on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, have had quite the journey. They kept their relationship under wraps for six months, enjoying the privacy before going public.

“It’s been awesome. It’s been amazing, honestly,” Horstmann shared about their relationship. Despite the initial nerves of dating in public, the support from fans has been overwhelming.

And amidst their whirlwind romance, Gibelli made the big move from Atlanta to Colorado. They announced their pregnancy in November 2023, sharing their excitement and journey with the world.

“I am so in tune [with my body],” Gibelli said during an Amazon Live session, recalling how she knew she was pregnant right away. It’s been an adventure, from feeling the first flutters to hosting an animal-themed baby shower.

Truly, it’s been a whirlwind of joy, laughter, and anticipation for the couple. And now, with Heath’s arrival, their adventure is just beginning.
