CT Tamburello, a former cast member of the MTV show The Challenge, recently shared a touching tribute to his late girlfriend, Diem Brown, on social media. Brown passed away in 2014 at the age of 32 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. The tribute consisted of a video of the couple together, which Tamburello captioned “To Be Continued … #tay.” In comments that have since been deleted, he expressed how much he misses Brown and how he wishes she were still here. He also shared that he has no motive for posting the video and promised to share what he has.
Brown and Tamburello met on The Duel in 2006, where they were allies and their connection blossomed into a romantic relationship. After the show ended, they continued a long-distance relationship, but eventually broke up in 2009. They later reunited to participate in 2012’s Battle of the Exes. Brown was diagnosed with ovarian cancer again in 2013 and had to complete another round of chemotherapy. She returned to film Battle of the Exes II in 2014 but was removed from the show after collapsing on set due to a stomach ache. She passed away four months later.
Tamburello has since moved on with Lilianet Solares, whom he wed in 2018. However, the couple filed for divorce four years later, and their split has been messy. They have been battling over finances and custody of their seven-year-old son Christopher, with Tamburello filing a motion to dissolve the marriage in November 2022. In March 2023, they reached a temporary financial and custody arrangement for their son, with Solares agreeing to move out of their shared home and accepting temporary support from Tamburello.
