Brittany Cartwright Feels Like Jax Taylor’s Punching Bag After Drinking Digs

Brittany Cartwright expresses her frustrations with Jax Taylor’s criticisms of her drinking habits on “The Valley,” feeling like his “punching bag” after a particular incident involving her feeling sick from a shot of sake. Despite their history of ups and downs, Brittany’s attempts to get sympathy from Jax lead to more tension, as he continues to question her drinking choices, highlighting the ongoing struggles in their relationship.

Brittany Cartwright feels like Jax Taylor’s “punching bag” due to his critical comments about her drinking habits on their show “The Valley.”

Brittany Cartwright’s had it up to here with Jax Taylor’s comments. Especially the ones about her drinking on *The Valley*. It’s like, can a girl catch a break?

In a sneak peek for next week’s drama, Brittany’s feeling all sorts of awful at Janet Caperna’s dinner. She blames it on a shot of sake. “I’m in pain,” she says, looking like she’d rather be anywhere but there. The smell of hibachi’s not helping either.

So, Brittany decides she needs to bounce, get some rest. But Jax? He’s staying put.

Oh, and speaking of ups and downs, these two have had their fair share. Their love story’s been nothing short of a rollercoaster. Met in 2015, moved to LA, the whole shebang. Fans have been on this wild ride with them through every twist and turn.

Back at the dinner, Brittany’s trying to explain. She loves game night, hates missing out. But she’s feeling too sick. Jax, though, he’s quick to point the finger at her drinking. Again.

Brittany’s side of the story? She had one shot. That’s it. But Jax snapping at her is getting old. “Being somebody’s punching bag is not fair,” she vents.

*The Valley* hasn’t shied away from showing Jax’s criticisms. Like that time he told Brittany to act like a mom if she wants more kids. Harsh.

Brittany’s confused, though. Jax seems all for her going out, then flips the script, shaming her for the same thing. “He goes out more than I do,” she points out. “But if I come home drunk, it’s the end of the world.”

Even their costar Janet sees the double standard. But she gets where Jax is coming from, too. Being married to Jax Taylor comes with its own set of rules, apparently.

Later, Jax tries to have a heart-to-heart. Concerned about Brittany’s drinking, he recalls a night she came home a mess. “Why go to the point of throwing up?” he asks.

Brittany’s not having any of it, though. She’s tired of feeling guilty, especially when Jax drinks too. But Jax doesn’t see the comparison. He’s worried about her health, about their family.

Jax suggests other ways to have fun. “We live in California,” he says, hinting at less harmful alternatives to drinking.

Meanwhile, *Vanderpump Rules* fans are getting a glimpse at new and familiar faces in *The Valley*. It’s a spinoff that promises just as much drama as its predecessor.

Jax and Brittany’s split earlier this year took everyone by surprise. Brittany’s looking for change, for effort from Jax’s side. “He needs to respect me more,” she insists.

*The Valley* airs Tuesdays on Bravo. It’s a glimpse into the lives of those we’ve come to love, hate, and can’t stop watching. And it’s available for streaming the next day on Peacock, for those who miss the live drama.
