Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Gary King Not Ruling Out Return Despite Scandal

Gary King is considering a possible return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht, despite being accused of sexual misconduct. He said that his hope is to stay on television screens. King has been accused by a production assistant of making unwanted advances toward her during season 4 of the show. Bravo has responded to the accusations by stating that they have investigated the situation and taken appropriate action.

Gary King from Below Deck Sailing Yacht is open to returning to the show despite facing sexual misconduct allegations, and has been supported by some of his costars.

Gary King, star of the reality show Below Deck Sailing Yacht, is still hopeful about making a return to the show despite being embroiled in a sexual misconduct scandal. King is looking at a possible return after fans raised questions about his future on the Bravo series. A viewer reminded him that there is life after Below Deck, to which King replied on Instagram, “I hope so, will have to see but will definitely be trying to stay on peoples tv screens.” He further noted that he is working to show his worth and is hopeful that Bravo will ask him to come back.

King’s future on the show has been uncertain since a production assistant accused him of making unwanted advances during the filming of season 4. Despite the allegations, King remains positive about his return to the show. However, reports indicate that the drama on Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been far more salacious than anticipated. During season 2 of the show, Dani Soares dropped a bombshell by claiming that Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux was the father of her baby.

Earlier this year, there were allegations of inappropriate behavior on the show. A former employee accused King of sexual harassment in a Rolling Stone expose, further claiming that Bravo helped to cover up King’s behavior. According to the former employee, the incidents of sexual harassment happened multiple times and were witnessed by multiple producers.

Following these allegations, Suarez, a former employee of the show, detailed an incident where King got drunk and then reportedly made unwanted advances towards her. After filming ended, Suarez was asked to look after King, only for him to allegedly try to stop her from leaving, pressing against her and refusing to let her leave until she fought back. The incident led to King being told to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn’t filming to keep him out of the hotel.

Bravo has since issued a statement saying they are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on their reality shows. They also require their third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and training in place as well as a process for reporting concerns. 51 Minds Entertainment, the production company behind Below Deck, has also issued a statement reaffirming their commitment to providing a respectful and safe environment for everyone on the show.
