Allison Holker tearfully commemorates her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, highlighting his lasting impact on the dance community during the season 18 auditions of “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Allison Holker will forever hold her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, in her heart. His legacy in the dance world is monumental.

“Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was, and will forever be, an icon, a legend,” Holker, 36, said, her voice laced with emotion. This was during a sneak peek of the *So You Think You Can Dance* season 18 auditions, shared on TikTok.

He wasn’t just the best at what he did. He made everyone around him better too.

To this day, Holker, their children, and the whole community feel his influence. They honor him by living with the same vibrancy he did.

Holker and Boss first crossed paths on *SYTYCD* season 7. They were both “All-Star” mentors. Their love story began there, leading to their marriage in 2013.

Sadly, Boss passed away in December 2022, at the age of 40. He left behind Holker and their three kids: Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.

In the wake of her immense loss, Holker decided to return to *SYTYCD*. She joined the judge’s panel for season 18.

The new season kicks off on Monday, March 4. Holker will search for America’s Top Dancer alongside Maksim Chmerkovskiy and JoJo Siwa.

“Allison has a huge background specifically relating to *So You Think You Can Dance*,” Chmerkovskiy, 44, shared. Her journey on the show launched her career.

She met her husband there, and together, they became significant figures in the dance world. Her return to the show is a full-circle moment.

Chmerkovskiy, a former *Dancing With the Stars* champion, noticed Holker’s dedication to honoring Boss’ legacy during filming.

“I missed tWitch. I wish we had crossed paths professionally,” Chmerkovskiy reflected. But he admires how Holker is filling the void.

*So You Think You Can Dance* is set to premiere on Fox. The date to mark is Monday, March 4, at 9 p.m. ET.
