William McLeod was born on the 4th of July, 1854. He was best known for being a Politician. Canadian physician and politician who was a Member of the Canadian Parliament for Cape Breton from 1879 to 1882. He was a Free Church leader in Mira Ferry and was elected third Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Canada in 1877.
