Tom Sandoval claims he and Raquel Leviss are not dating and taking a break from their relationship following their affair scandal, after he and Ariana Madix called it quits.
Tom Sandoval, the 40-year-old co-founder of TomTom and star of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, has revealed that he and his former flame, Raquel Leviss, 28, are taking a break from their relationship. The announcement comes after their affair made headlines, and Sandoval’s recent breakup with Ariana Madix, his ex-girlfriend of nine years.
During an appearance on Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, Sandoval stated that he and Leviss are good friends who are “not putting any label on” their relationship. He also confirmed that they are “taking a break” amid all the drama, but denied rumors of being “friends with benefits.”
Sandoval admitted that the recent events have been a painful experience for his ex-girlfriend, Madix. He also revealed that he called for the breakup on Valentine’s Day, almost a month before their split made headlines.
According to Sandoval, breaking up with Madix was an “inevitable thing.” He also claimed that Madix was in “complete denial” about the breakup, even though she knew about their separation. The 37-year-old author of Fancy AF Cocktails has not commented on the issue.
Sandoval and Leviss’s relationship caught the attention of fans when Leviss was seen outside Sandoval and Madix’s shared home late last month. The businessman was then spotted escorting Leviss to the airport on April 2, helping her with her bags. Sandoval has since apologized publicly for his actions.
Sandoval’s friend and business partner, Tom Schwartz, expressed concern over the impact of their relationship on their ventures. He stated on an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that “Raquel is Tom’s heroin” and that Sandoval is “addicted” to her.
It remains to be seen whether Sandoval and Leviss will rekindle their relationship, but for now, they are taking a step back in their romantic life.
