Raquel Leviss Checks Herself into Mental Health Treatment Facility following Cheating Scandal with Tom Sandoval

“Vanderpump Rules” star Raquel Leviss checked herself into a mental health treatment facility. The decision comes after her cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval, which led to Sandoval’s breakup with Ariana Madix. Leviss, who did not enter rehab for substance abuse, had planned to seek counseling even before the cheating scandal was discovered.

Raquel Leviss has checked herself into a mental health treatment facility to receive voluntary counseling, not for substance abuse issues, after her cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval, with Bravo and production aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.

Raquel Leviss, known for starring in the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, has checked herself into a mental health treatment facility. A representative for the 28-year-old confirmed that she was not seeking treatment for substance abuse issues. In a statement, the representative said that Leviss had planned to admit herself before the show’s reunion was taped, but decided to finish her filming commitment first. “Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health,” the representative added.

Leviss’ decision to enter a mental health facility follows headlines surrounding her relationship with Tom Sandoval. The 40-year-old, who co-owns a bar with Vanderpump Rulesstar Tom Schwartz, ended his nearly decade-long relationship with Ariana Madix after it was revealed that he had cheated on her with Leviss. Following the scandal, Leviss took to social media to apologize to Madix, saying that there was “no excuse” for her actions and that she had hurt Madix deeply.

The former beauty pageant contestant said that she was “speaking to a counselor” about her personal issues and had sought validation through “intimate connections that are not healthy.” Leviss added that she was taking steps to understand her behavior and make healthier choices. Recently, Sandoval stated that he and Leviss were “really good friends” and that they were not putting a label on their relationship. Sandoval revealed that he had tried to end things with Madix as his feelings for Leviss grew.
