Mohamed Amin was born on the 29th of August, 1943. He was best known for being a Photographer. During the period from 1983 until 1985, this prominent photojournalist produced many devastating images of the Ethiopian famine. He also established the Kenyan-based Camerapix company and wrote and published several books, including Pilgrimage to Mecca and Journey Through Pakistan.
Mohamed Amin was born in Kenya. He rose to prominence during the 1970s, when his photojournalism pieces were picked up by numerous Western newspapers and television news stations. He was killed during the hijacking and subsequent crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961.
