Les Clark was born on the 17th of November, 1907. He was known for being a Cartoonist. Animator and cartoonist, most recognized as the first of Disney’s Nine Old Men. He was an incredibly fast worker and created Disney’s Steamboat Willie in a matter of hours.
Les Clark was born in California. He met Walt Disney when he was still a student at Venice High School in LA. After graduating, he worked up the nerve to ask him for a job and, based on his amateur sketches, was given an opportunity. He was also able to direct animated features, including his first, Paul Bunyan, in 1958.
