Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann Face Foreclosure on Georgia Mansion amid Legal Drama

Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann faced foreclosure on their Georgia mansion after defaulting on their mortgage in 2022. The property was set to be auctioned off in March 2023, but the sale was canceled. Despite denying financial issues, the couple announced their split in May 2023, after quietly separating the previous month.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann faced legal drama and possible foreclosure on their Georgia mansion, purchased in 2012 for $880,000, after defaulting on their mortgage.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann’s marriage faced financial and legal problems in Spring 2023 after their Georgia mansion was listed for foreclosure. The estate, which the couple bought in 2012 for $880,000, has five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, and various amenities, including a spa, waterfall, elevator, and basketball court. Trust Bank initiated foreclosure proceedings in August 2022 after the couple defaulted on their mortgage. Their property was set to go on auction in March 2023, but Brock & Scott, PLLC announced in February 2023 that the sale was no longer taking place.

The couple, who had previously denied facing financial issues in November 2022, faced legal proceedings after failing to pay their debt as detailed in the Security Deed. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly revealed that the sale proceeds would pay off the debt and all expenses of the sale, including attorney’s fees. The pair’s legal drama coincided with their separation, which was kept quiet until one month prior to Kim filing for divorce from Kroy in May 2023.

Kim and Kroy tied the knot in November 2011 and have four children together: sons Kroy Jr. and Kash and twins Kane and Kaia, while Kroy adopted Kim’s daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from a previous relationship in 2013. Despite reports that the family lived at the Alpharetta estate, the couple’s divorce proceedings and legal issues hinted at the tough time they were experiencing. Nevertheless, Kim’s daughters Brielle and Ariana dismissed the rumors in February 2023, stating that the family was still residing on the premises.

Kim is a former cast member of Real Housewives of Atlanta and starred in her spin-off show, Don’t Be Tardy, which centered mainly on her family life with Kroy and their children. While the reality couple’s finances and legal issues may have impacted their personal lives, the public was left to speculate on the details behind their foreclosure and divorce.
