Reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann has completed a four-hour online course in parenting amid her divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed a completion certificate with the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia on 26 May. The couple, who have four children together and whom Zolciak-Biermann married in 2011, have been embroiled in a custody battle.

Reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann has completed a four-hour online parenting course on navigating family change, amid her divorce from retired NFL player Kroy Biermann. The course was presented by The Center for Navigating Family Change. She filed a certificate of completion with the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia.
After filing for divorce earlier this month, Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann have made headlines for their contentious divorce proceedings and custody battle. Biermann has filed for sole legal and physical custody of the pair’s four children, while Zolciak-Biermann has requested that he undergo drug testing. In May, TMZ reported that the duo owe $1.1m in back taxes.
Although the couple’s split has come as a shock to their fans and those who know them, TV host Andy Cohen has expressed concern over their finances. Speaking on an episode of his radio show, Cohen said he had previously told Zolciak-Biermann that he was worried about the way she spent her money. Biermann, he said, is “not a football player, he is a retired football player. They didn’t have the football player money coming in anymore”.
Despite the acrimony, Cohen said earlier this month that the couple seemed very much in love. “They were a couple that I thought they were in it for the long haul,” he said. “I was very surprised [and I am] sorry to hear that.”
