Hiroshi Fujimoto was born on the 1st of December, 1933. He was popular for being a Cartoonist. Better known as Fujiko Fujio, a pen name he shared with his longtime collaborator Motoo Abiko, this twentieth century manga artist is famous for his work on an extremely popular Japanese comics series titled Doraemon.

Hiroshi Fujimoto was born in Japan. He and Abiko published their first manga work, Tenshi no Tama Chan, in the early 1950s. His numerous artistic honors include the 1963 Shogakukan Manga Award, the 1982 Shogakukan Children’s Manga Award;, and the 1997 Osamu Tezuka Grand Cultural Prize.
