Cliff Sterrett was born on the 12th of December, 1883. He was best known for being a Cartoonist. Creator of the comic strip Polly and Her Pals, one of the most innovative comics of its time. Some of his work was included in a Library of Congress exhibition entitled Cartoon America.
Cliff Sterrett was born in Minnesota. After two years at the Chase Art School in New York, he started doing cartoons and illustrations for newspapers like the New York Times and New York Evening Journal. He launched Polly and Her Palls through the New York Evening Journal in 1912.
